Education:

  • Donation to www.weeshuissrilanka.nl, for computerlessons children (2013)
  • Dontation to Apprenticeship Training Centre, Hweakwae, Ghana. Initiative Foundation Big Step (2012)
  • Funding of a school building in Malawi, the project is supported by Belgian promoters who on voluntary basis transfer knowledge and time (2008, 2009).
  • Donation to a remedial teaching project in Nicaragua, the project Totoco (www.totocofoundation.org) is led by a Spanish / Dutch couple that have chosen to devote a couple of years of their life to the welfare improvement of less fortunate people (2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2016).
  • Financing materials for the construction of a school in Tanzania, the project was carried out by British schoolchildren (2009).
  • Funding of drawing lessons for an orphanage in India. The lessons were freely provided by a Dutch art teacher, the Foundation paid for her travel and material costs (2009).
  • Funding of school fee for five children in the Gambia. The performance of the children are monitored by a Dutch volunteer (2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016).
  • Sponsorship by Delft students of the construction of a training center in Ghana (2013)
  • Sponsoring of an accountantant for Makeni project in Zambia (www.vriendenvanmakeni.org). The accountant seperated the different ventures (orphanage, school, agriculture) of the project (2015)
  • Funding of foundation Schooling for Life (www.schoolingforlife.nl) in Sierra Leone. Dutch woman prepares students for the labour market (2014, 2015, 2016)
  • Material and expense compensation for an education therapist for lessons in orphanage in India. The orphanage houses 20 disabled children.

Health:

  • Medical care for mentally handicapped children in Lima (2009)
  • Donation to appoint a Mentor/Life skills at Orphanage Casa Rene in Romenia. Initiative: Foundation Livada (www.stichting-livada.nl) (2013)
  • Donation to a Dutch Dental Care organization for aid in Kenya where dentists work for free with their expenses being reimbursed by us (2008, 2009).
  • Contribution to a nurse training in Varanasi, India (2009)
  • Assistance to a orphanage in Nepal where about 80 children get excellent care, education
  • and shelter (2008).
  • Financial support of an expedition to the Brahmutra river Delta in Bangladesh for a plastic surgery team that is specialized in burns and cleft lips. The expedition was organized by the Foundation Friendship. The doctors and assistants worked unpaid, whilst their travel-, lodgings and material costs were reimbursed by the Foundation (2011,2013, 2014).
  • Sponsoring of heart surgery of non Israelian children in hospital in Tel Avin Israel (www.saveachildsheart.com)

Sport

  • Financing a sport complex in Kenya for Kisumu Youth Football Association. The volunteers of Kisumu Youth Football Association are committed to make sure that children can develop through football. A well-organized internal soccer competition has been organized and the World Child Fund financially assisted the Association with the construction of a sports complex (2012)
  • Financing life skills training provided by in Kisumu Youth Football Association (2017).
  • In Mozambique volunteers organize football for street children. Again the World Child fund helped by sponsoring footballshirts for the different teams (2013)
